Prostate Cancer Screenings
One of the keys to treating prostate cancer is early detection. The American Cancer Society recommends that doctors give patients 50 and over in good health and expected to live at least 10 years a PSA blood test and digital rectal exam (DRE) once a year.Men with higher risks such as African-American men with a history of prostate cancer in their families should be tested age 45 and older.
