Nurse Practitioner

As a certified nurse practitioner, Ingrid has a heart for service and uses her years of experience to enrich the lives of patients and colleagues alike. She is a valued member of our team as well as a trusted and respected colleague.

Before arriving at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, Ingrid gained crucial experience in oncology care services at a local area hospital. There she learned the intricacies of cancer care while working closely with patients and their families. Performing a wide range of responsibilities, she has served as staff nurse and site coordinator at Michiana Hematology Oncology, PC, and was director of nursing and practice manager at Northern Indiana Oncology Association. Ingrid also spent time as a home infusion nurse and was trained to work with the home administration of blood products, catheter care, chemotherapy, pain management medications among other treatments for homebound patients. Extensively trained, Ingrid’s responsibilities have included everything from patient care, side effect and pain management to human resource management and employee health.

Ingrid has a passion for continuing education and actively pursues avenues that allow her to grow to reach her full potential. She received her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, Fort Wayne, Ind., as well as her master of science in nursing at Ball State University, Muncie, Ind. She holds ACLS certification, Oncology Nurse Certification and has held certification in Infusion Therapy. Through her dedication and passion, Ingrid uplifts the spirits of her patients and provides unmatched care for those in her charge.
