
Rita Gingrich, MSW, LCSW
PNI Counselor
Rita Gingrich, MSW, LCSW, provides supportive counseling to patients and their families. She addresses issues in coping and adaptation, with the purpose of managing distressing reactions, mobilizing support systems, and increasing coping skills. It is her goal to empower patients to engage in a healing process with calmness and to develop insight into their ability to self-care in a way that is comfortable for them.
Rita has worked in the human services field for over 20 years and has enjoyed a variety of work experiences. She has been a bereavement counselor, providing educational and supportive services to bereaved community members, hospice families and caregivers. She also worked at a mental health facility on inpatient units and in a partial hospital program providing group therapy to persons diagnosed with chemical dependency.
