Scott Hamilton Will Celebrate Life with Cancer Survivors at Goshen Health System

Goshen, Ind. – Goshen Health System announced today that Scott Hamilton will be the featured speaker for it’s second annual cancer survivorship celebration called True Celebration. Hamilton will share his personal survival story at the event. True Celebration pays tribute to cancer survivors celebrating their 5-year milestone.

“True Celebration is about our patients and the success they have had battling this disease. This celebration of life is what drives our physicians and staff to provide the best cancer care available,” said Paulette Brown, Vice President of Operations.

Hamilton is in the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and is a privileged member of the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Most recently he hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turino, Italy and the reality television show Skating With Celebrities.

Sponsored by the Center for Cancer Care of Goshen Health System, the free program begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the Music Center, Goshen College campus. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Early arrival is strongly recommended, as seating will be limited.
 
The Music Center is located on the Goshen College campus on College Avenue and 12th Street, Goshen, Ind.  Light refreshments will immediately follow.
