Symptoms

* A change in bowl habits like diarrhea or consistency of stool over a period of time.
* Narrow stools
* Rectal bleeding or blood in the stool 
* Persistent abdominal discomfort like cramps
* Bowel movement that causes pain in the abdomen
* A feeling that the bowel does not empty completely
* Unexplained weight loss
* Previous history of colorectal cancer or polyps
