Mammograms
Every day we learn more about breast cancer and how to win the battle. One fact is very clear – the distinct advantage is early detection. Mammograms are the only test proven to decrease the chances of dying from breast cancer. If breast cancer is detected early, before it spreads, 96% of women will be alive five years later. The earlier it’s discovered, the earlier it’s treated, the better your chance of survival. Studies have shown that, for women ages 50-69, having regular mammograms could reduce death from breast cancer by one-third.
